Heading to Final – Puyol bids almost an adieu

Best way to bid adieu as a well known footballer, Score and let the ball express rest. Thanks a ton for one of the strongest head punches to take Spain in to grand final of 2010 FIFA World cup, South Africa. Carlos ever dying attitude, dedication and ferocious  work ethic recalls my admiration with Roberto carlos of Brazil. Over the years with strong performance and dedication he proved himself as a first choice for current and previous national coaches. Two world cup appearances and now in grand world cup finals, what else you ask for. Interestingly he will be completing 10 years of service with national team of spain, “Deca footballer”.

He is finishing his national soccer duty in style now. His clean header to kiss center of the net was the only goal scored in grand semi final game. Puyol Headed out German’s from world cup finals. He has created full rapo with other defenders like pique and goal keeper casilias and result is only 2 goals conceded in 6 games.

I have been following his soccer skills for a little longer time mostly with FC Barcelona. His strong voice in carrying out the team in difficult times were so good. Like many other aging footballer he has announced 12th july game against Holland to be his final game for All Reds, Spain.

What lies ahead is very nice, after that there will be time to assess things. The decision has not been taken yet.
