Federation cup big final KEB vs SL

One of the popular football tournament in India, Federation cup big final is to be played between KEB (Kingfisher East Bengal) and SL (Shilong Lajong FC). KEB displayed a superb come back to win against arch rivals Mohan Bagan (MMB) by 2 – 0. Good finish from striker Yukubu and midfielder mehtab decided the winner. Earlier both team’s No9 jersey players missed penalty. Famous kolkata derby witnessed by huge crowds mostly in support of east bengal.  Though played for 15 minutes Bhutiya showcased some wonderful football show. Both the team wanted to attack more, but over all KEB emerged as a winner, they deserve to be in. KEB is so eager to convert their 14th final entry in to 6th win. Surprise final entrant Shilong Lajong FC has many quality players, but KEB’s defense is too tough to break. They yet to concede a goal in this years federation cup.

The 31st Federation Cup will end tomorrow with a Lajong FC vs East Bengal Club final. Indian football fans have a superb soccer sunday, I expect RED and GOLD BRIGADE to lift the trophy and make their count to 6. This is the best way to silence some of the critical comments against club’s performance in this years I-League.
