Dark horse of FIFA football world cup 2010

In less than 18Hrs south africa will raise curtains for 30 days of continuous football action. Major team around the world are gathered with their best and fit talent to prove their supremacy. Like any other major football world cup finals, this world cup 2010 is no different, So many surprise packages. These nothing to loose teams are the biggest threat to major soccer playing nations. They have showed their role in bringing surprises in the past, i am sure this WC2010 will not be a exception. With this blog i will analyze my pick of Under dogs, Dark horses. My prediction is based on fitness level, condition, group composition, support and talent. Only 90 minutes action will decide the winner not Current FIFA ranking,country, supporters and players experience.

From 8 groups i am going to choose 5, Dark horses. These dark horses are all result changers. Their one good day performance will bring big surprises and headache to football analyst like me.

1. Host “South Africa” – Traditionally FIFA WC’s are known for host nation making big show. Their support and skill with regular high altitude training is a big boost.
2. SURPRISE PACKAGE: Nothing to loose SERBIA and AUSTRALIA - No lack of talent, No big tags in the back. Stress less ease game from them will make tension in Group D, and hence in facing england in second round.
3. NATIVE FOOTBALL LEGS: MEXICO and PRAGUAY - Native latin american soccer skills with fearless attacking option, and again high altitude gaming experience will keep them in 3rd place of Dark horses.
