NO 10 Zinedine Zidane Greatest midfield

Former french international footballer zinedine zidane is my choice for the anchor midfield position. His nick name zizou is so famous among his fans. He played for some of the greatest clubs like Juventus in italy,  Real madrid in Spain, and Girondins Bordeaux in france. He had own Many many awards like FIFA world player of the year, and European player of the year. In fact No10 in his jersey adds him to some of the greatest footballer of the past pele to present rooney. Midfield has got a important role in any football team. It is not just about supplying balls to forwards. Defending, Controlling the game, controlling the passes, dead ball kick and much more. His contribution in the pitch to the game is enormous from passing, trebling, controlling, penalty kick, dead ball kick so much to add.

Reasons to My Pick zidane,

• Midfield master and superb controller of the ball
• Fantastic deal ball kick, Though not equal to beckam class in his style
• Effortless finisher
• Scored twice in 1998 world cup final to win trophy to France
• Major contributions in winning Euro 2000
• Came back to team after president request, Took France to final in 2006 world cup

He had his share of bad time too. Full stop to his carrier came with headbutt incident in FIFA world cup final 2006 was so bad. Zidane was sent off in extra time after headbutting Marco Materazzi following verbal taunts from the Italian player, and so did not participate in the penalty shootout, which Italy won 5–3. After all he is also a human being. One can not control his emotions beyond certain limit. Even after this incident his fame and fan base haven’t reduced. He kept the Golden Ball award.
