website on details of contesting politicians

Election 2009, broadly tagged as a Biggest demonstration of largest democracy. The freedom we the Indian’s enjoy is far far above any other country you name it. Election 09, a process to choose future leaders to rule the nation for the next five years,  has many dramas attached to it. When the whole world moves towards information on web site, Do we have web site to know who is contesting ?  in which constituency? who he/she is ? One website is there to answer your question http://myneta.info/

Ashamed of these dirty Politician’s.

May be India is the only country where web sites are created, with data bases (too many to retrieve), to recover the criminal record of “Future Leaders”

Ashamed of This POLITICS.

My comments are based on the details gathered in http://myneta.info/

This web site has gathered information about contesting politician’s Name, party, No of criminal cases, education, age, Total assets and liabilities. I was shocked to see kind of education our future leader has, no of criminal cases against them, and the amount of wealth they have accumulated.

Democracy has allowed politicians to contest even without proper education cos, a common man from common background will understand the true pain. His ideas will enable goodness to the people. Now the whole purpose goes in vein. When we have literacy rat of above 60% in many constituencies, There are many politicians who are not even literate.

POINTS I SUPPORT:

Spread the news about this website http://myneta.info/, Let every eligble voter aware of who they gonna select.

Recent tirades between Congress and BJP, two main national parties and particularly that between Dr. Manmohan Singh (backed by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi) and Lalkrishna Advani, have taken the Election pitch to Nadir as they have almost made personal comments rather than taking each with meaningful discussions on main national issues like Economic Crisis, Job Opportunities, Good Governance, Security gains Terrorism etc with which common people are concerned in their day-to-day life.

Congress, being the oldest party in the country, having enjoyed maximum fruits by its leaders since Independence, should have been more focused to proclaim on good governance plank by committing to oust corruption, nepotism, exploitation by politicians and bureaucrats and alike over the decades. Only the people from this sector along with criminals and business tycoons are cornering the wealth of the people and hence, of the country by all means. Some have become one among the richest in the world in last 2/3 decades. Every system has come to naught with massive corruption and malpractices by a mere percentage of the population of over a billion people in this country. All enjoy merry-go-round funfair during such elections at huge cost to Exchequer and the looted public money, mostly in black. Who has allowed such a condition to come about, it is Congress.

After the honest and down to earth Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri, not a single Prime Minister and his/her ministerial colleagues have come clean. The great case of overnight withdrawal of cash over a crore in Indira Gandhi’s time ( ultimately, the poor fellow had to give his life), followed by Bofor’s episode in Rajiv Gandhi’s time with Quatrochi -Italian connection can they be ignored. Public memory is not so short that they will forget who have looted them being in high office. Only the sycophants in Congress and other parties (which have become a class by itself over the years) loudly proclaim their cleanliness. I guess, no sensible person will buy that story.

The partition of undivided India into present India and Pakistan was the biggest harm caused to this great country by Mahatma -Nehru camp, since they wanted Jinnah to be sidelined. What is result of that crime ? Millions like me from then East Bengal and form Western part of then country were made refugee overnight as our leaders fell into the trap of British Regime, who ruled this country only dividing people into religions. If we try to hear the voices of true patriots of this country like Bhagat Singh, Tilak, Netaji and so many of them, who sacrificed their lives unconditionally, we know the truth, which has been obscured by these politicians for their personal gain and end. Why there be a dynastic rule of Nehru-Gandhi clan ? Who are they after Nehru, except Congress fronts to garner votes on sentiment ? How come Priyanka Gandhi including present PM and Congress men proclaim Rahul Gandhi as next PM in making? There are millions of capable youngsters among the vast population in our country, who are far more competent as they have proved themselves on their own without Nehru-Gandhi projection.

So, I have following questions for Dr. Manmohan Singh, aspirant for next PM’s role.

    1. In his tenure of last 5 years, what he did he accomplish to remove “corruption” from public life to set an example his leadership quality. Instead, almost all politicians, competing in this General Election, have raised their assets several times without any tangible earning capability in honest way. This kind of wealth generation did not happen to general professionals in this country. From my own experience of spending four decades as engineer from project design to CEO/VP with renowned corporate, I could not make such money in my life time as we are all hooked to TDS, being honest tax payers. Millions of professional who is putting hard work day-in and day-out have the same story. We cannot afford to have a simple but decent life style as cost of living is going up by leaps and bounds, though price escalation index is shown as lowered down. Why this fallacy , when we have a sound financial luminaries in Dr. Singh.

    2. Whether he has been able to address adequately the basic needs of average people , rather citizens at large ? Simply, No ! Because of nexus of politicians, builders with criminals are enjoying a money galore in all metros, through manipulations of unbelievable land rise. Why has it happened ? This govt. has opened the flood gate of home bank loan to all kinds of personal loans so that young people are made to believe that they can grab all over night. Present economic turn-down due to faulty policy of loan to sub-prime borrowers of the US Finance companies has shocked the world. It was due to “greed” of some people in power like what we see among our own.

What about job opportunities to urban and rural poor, who constitute majority of the population in this country and largest among them are youths around 30 yrs and less? Simply by boasting of Nuclear Deal with US does not credit the post of PM, unless it is in our people and country’s interest. I have had the privilege to work on design and engineering for some nuclear power plants of this country in as a young engineer with Canadian company MEIL and know the efficacy of CANDU reactors vis-a-vis other reactors. What about food for poor farmers and other poverty stricken communities, who are dying out of hunger, while the govt, is spending billions in storing the food grains, some portion either getting systematically stolen, spoilt or rodent eaten. Why is this fallacy?

    3. What about drinking water and power, which are depleting so fast that even money may not be able to purchase after some years? Has PM addressed this issues seriously during his recent era?

    4. Education is vitiated with party politics. So, instead of character building , institutions are churning out en masse graduates and majority of them have intent to make quick buck rather than earning through serious contribution to the wealth of this country. Are our leaders not responsible for this condition, whereby we throttled unfettered knowledge, skill and overall competency in every field. We cannot sustain with only few premier institutions like IITs, IIms etc. PM should know better. Does he have an answer?

In short, the entire political system has been so degenerated that a meagre percentage of people are enslaving entire mass of this huge population to rule over us and enjoy all the fruits of success and that too, free at the cost of all citizens. Recent hike of salary and perks right from President through Ministers, MPs, MLAs and bureaucrats, the privileged class bear the testimony of misrule by all over last 60 long years with Congress in the front. Can Dr. Singh deny this with clear conscience, unless he believes in His Master’s Voice. That is our political scenario of the day crowded by average but cunning fellows, criminals and hoodlums with cronies and manipulators. Few good people do exist still in that system, but their voice is always drown.

It is high time , we average people need to strengthen our will to bring in a change to cleanse the complete system and also remove these rotten people from the main stream of our life by bringing in professionals with character backed with right education, experience and commitment to the welfare of the country. The probably we find some Obama among us , who demo by action by spending his own money to redecorate the White House, unlike our lot, who is out to grab public money for their life style as it comes totally free of cost to them. I would have appreciated, if Dr. Singh and Mr. Advani and like would have cared to state their plan to eradicate these ill before the Nation.

We need to select and elect honest, reliable, experienced candidates. R.S.Bharathi has 23 years of serving public as a chariman of alandur.Let us go by the old tamil saying “Kanal Kanpathum poi, kathaal kepathum poi, theriaa vesaripathe mei’..Let us ask our friends and relatives in and around Alandur …then decide.
