Media Media Media Enough of Tortures

In the time of digital revolution media plays a very significant role in taking information to the general public. Almost all the channels are working on 24×7 basis. What we just see in front of TV set is just the presentation. In reality big team of intelligent brains are involved in presenting a show/news content. The way media has turned in to in India is part of global digital revolution, But to be very frank what they failed to show is the correctness to the facts, individualism, and proper delivery.

I can site one example from a famous Tamil channel KTVK TV.

In a show called Idhu Enna Galatta, Anchor Made a statement “our national game is Cricket”, The show is aired on every sunday between 10.00 to 10.30 AM. Just because he is an Anchor we can not listen and stay calm for what ever he comments on. Its about a nations identity. The statement is as equivalent to some one incorrectly pointing our national flag.

The incident i sited above is one such example. We come across many such incidents every day like,

  1. Improperly pronouncing the name of a place, and name of a person. Boss it is a proper noun mind that. You can not change it for your style.
  2. Inaccuracy in the fact
  3. Hyped stories and lobbying
  4. Live reporting of a Terror attack for a sake of viewership when the people are at danger

Things should change, Government should make a rule, Protocol to be followed. Strong action should be taken.

My interest is to correct what i feel wrong.
