Ontheway to make history manutd my favorite

mautd Champions league 09 semifinal, Undoubtedly this match promises to be great entertainer for every football fan. As a true fan of manutd i don’t mind to write Winners Vs Loosers. Lot has been written about recent form of  manutd in both EPL (English Premier League) as well as in Champions league. Though Arsenal has slight edge with just twice beaten in the last 28 games they played, fighting against Red Army at Oldtrafford is a tough task. As rightly pointed out by arsenal manger likes of Gigsy and their experience is remarkable. Return of fabregas from long time injury, with match fitness is Arsenal’s plus. This match will be the best entertainer for few reasons namely,

Manchester United Vs Arsenal

Red Devils Vs Gunners

Ryan Vs Fabregas

Sir Alex Ferguson Vs Arsenvenger

Old Traford Vs Emirates

800th Appearance as Manutd player for Ryan Giggs

Most importantly one of the major hurdle to by pass in Manutd’s way to make history in modern inception of Champions League.

Some interesting comments made by well knows people are,

Edwin van der Sar “There’s no question the stakes are high and we want to reach Rome. Both teams will be doing everything they can to be there.”

Sir Alex “The history and traditions of both clubs have been of the highest standing, I like the way Arsenal play,” he adds ” There are similarities with ourselves in that respect, and also in the way we both believe in young players”, “I hope the fans support us again throughout the match [against Arsenal]. We need to make it intimidating for Arsenal and put them under pressure. It’s very difficult for opposition teams to play at Old Trafford when the crowd gets behind us.”

“They’re going to have to drive us. We’ve been through a hard, hard season and it’s coming up to that part of the season where we need everyone.”

Arsene Wenger “I have a big respect for Ryan Giggs because he started his career in 1991 and we are now in 2009,”  “When a guy has played 18 years at that level, you have to have complete respect. The focus and the sacrifices that it demands to be at the top level for 18 years are massive. “This is the moment when we want to show we have what is needed,” he said.”We have built a young team because we wanted to develop a special way of playing and a special spirit.

Darren Fletcher “We know what to expect from Arsenal, we’ve played against them a lot and they’re top a team.”
“They like to get the ball down, they’re one of the best sides in the country at little intricate passes, and we’ve got to be ready for that.”

The prospect of becoming the first team to retain the Champions League trophy is an appealing one to Sir Alex. “It’d be great to be the first team to do it,” he says. “We’re good at winning things first, and maybe that’s a good omen. We’re in the semi-final and with two good performances, or two victories, we’ll get the chance to try and do it for the first time.”

Chelsea’s 0-0 draw against barca, though a good sign it is not a great sign. Already Blues are losing their momentum in EPL Most likely RED Army will be the champions for third consecutive time.

Dear Manutd fans “Rome is waiting for us”, Let us make loud voices at oldtrafford and push our players for victory.

Let us see who thrashes who on May 27th.
Manutd is the clear favorites in view of strong squad, recent form and quality. Barca will be few counts short of crucial big fellas.
@senthilsam sam “catalans were thrashed by Manutd last season in semi”, We are gonna rewrite the history in every possible way. Premiership champions for the third consecutive time, European champions for the second consecutive time.
Hope you know Blues have chance of taking only one trophy this time Old style FA cup.
