Lost Human touch – Thanks to Social Networking Sites (SNS)
I am really happy to live in the years of information rich web 2.0. One of the primary goal of web2.0 is to enable user interaction faster, sophisticated, and easier, Social Networking Sites play an important role in this. But over a decade of using them i feel, we the people forgot the real importance of human touch. We love the people, we love to interact with each other, We love to share things, We love to fight with each other.
Question is
Are we helping each other ?
Are we really know how to love each other ?
Are we really ready to smile at each other ?
To recall a saying from one of my close Teacher in UG, Mr. Ravikumar
First lesson in people relation is LEARN HOW TO SMILE AT EACH OTHER, THE ONLY WAY TO REPLY FOR A SMILE IS SMILE BACK
SNS helps to bring down the gap between people. It leads to conversation. Last week i have quoted about a recent accident happened to me, More number of people have turned out and conveyed their wishes felt very happy about it. There were many get well soon messages, floating around in the form of Tweets, scraps, wall msgs. Thanks to Social networking sites. I have noticed a well person working in my office conveyed his message too, we meet every day at cafeteria, but my friend is not bothered to ask what happened?, how are you?
I really ask, Is the Human touch really lost

I guess the human touch is not entirely lost. This is the reason why I do not keep in touch with my very close friends using any social networking sites. It is either a straight call (once in a year, hehehe) or a meet. So, it depends on how each person deals with this balance, I suppose.
Rightly said, It entirely depends on how each person deal with it. Certainly SNS helps us to be in touch with our contacts, Lost human touch applicable to specific individuals
