Brand image – A backbone of operation
Branding a core segment of business administration is the back bone of any organization. In my speeches i use to mention known brands like TATA and GOOGLE are not asking the people about how to pronounce, but it happens. You may have good product to produce, a bunch of seekers to buy, but without brand image products and buyers will vanish just like that, A Brand image markets your company/industry/organization. Best example is Google, Though they had superb product in a completely new generation market segment, they went took traditional steps to promote about themselves. I can recall the advertisements of google in TV shows as googly during cricket tournaments. Even online market giant needed traditional mediums to brand about themselves.
Very recently i traveled in Shatabdi express from chennai to bangalore. That was my first on train experience with Shatabdi. First class service, compounded my non-stop avg speed of around 100kmph (Thanks to my co-passenger GPS and Technology). Every article used to serve the passengers had IRCTC brand in it. Branding at well known train service is to be applauded. IRCTC and my experience with Shatabdi is the best example for “Brand image a backbone of any organization”. Branding about yourself in a poorly served areas will hinder much, be careful. Corporate brands are like a diamond in a crown, correct place, time and closeness are the dimensions.
