Action packed Manchester derby

Derby heavy weight Manchester derby showed every level of thrill and closeness to mark one of the greatest league game in the history of EPL. Though the end result is Manchester united THE WINNER. This game was not decided even at the last few seconds. As expected TEVEZ experienced a dirty welcome from loyal fans of red army. Manutd deservedly won this pulsating game with owen’s dramatic finish in the injury time.  It was certainly a even game, though united dominance with possession is lot better than city. Manchester city came from behind in three times to equate score 3 – 3 in injury time. Goals from Bellamy and barry is of the mistake from manutd defense rather than a clean strike. The victory was wholly justified as United’s second half performance was full of class. Final score manutd 4 and mancity 3.

MANCHESTER UNITED – Limited opportunity enjoyed with goal lead, Absence of paul scholes, match fitness lag with Rio was so evident. It could have caused 3 crucial points. Rooney and Owen rock with clean strike on all possible chances. Particularly Rooney’s 6 goals out of 6 league appearances gives 100% strike rate one of the rare privilege to have in high level EPL games. Once again Owen has proved he is fit and perfect for the full league game appearance, his class in finishing was so superb. Passive approaches of the ball berbatov proved yet again that his phase ans finishing skills are not up to the mark of EPL expectations.

MANCHESTER CITY – Absence of Emanuel and robiho was so evident. At last manutd had put a full stop to their 100 % winning streak. Safe hand Given, barry, belammy showed their class.  Midfield was not that great, They were not holding any kind of possession. Hughes have lot of work to do.

With this game MANUTD will be top of the table for couple of hours. Chelsea game against Tottenham will decide the No 1 and No 2 position. This week in English premier league is so important since it decides top rank in league table.
